PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump enabling easy assembly and disassembly, and facilitating daily washing work and maintenance work. SOLUTION: The vane pump 1 has radial direction outward flange parts 47, 48 projectingly provided on cylinder opening parts 3, 4 on both sides of a casing 2 respectively, and radial direction outward flange parts 49, 50 projectingly provided on side plates 5, 6 on both sides. The flange parts 47, 48 on both sides of the casing 2 and the flange parts 49, 50 on the side plates 5, 6 on both sides are butted, and the butted flange parts 47, 48, 49, 50 are fastened by a fastening ring 51.
