PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of stably disposing a cage. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing is a tapered roller bearing 11 comprising a plurality of tapered rollers 12, and the cage 13 retaining the plurality of tapered rollers 12. The cage 13 is divided into four cage segments 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d by parting lines extending in the direction along an axis, and the cage segment 13a has a pair of ring portions 14a, 14b, two pillar portions 15 connecting the pair of ring portions 14a, 14b, and a plurality of projecting portions 16, 17, 18, 19 projecting from end faces opposite to each other, of the pair of ring portions 14a, 14b. Further the tapered rollers 12 respectively have truncated cone-shaped recessed portions 12a, 12b receiving the projecting portions 16, 17, on its large end face and small end face.
