<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of appropriately suppressing a shake in accordance with the degree of the shake, and to provide a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus equipped with a mechanical shake correction system and a sensitive shake reduction system, an object shake amount is calculated on the basis of a shake motion vector obtained in a through-image display period, and the using ratio of the mechanical shake correction system to the sensitive shake reduction system is successively set on the basis of the calculated object vibration amount.
