PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge for an inkjet recording device and an inkjet recording device which has a high erosion resistance to various kinds of ink, stable molding precision, and further include an ink supply port having a packing member making no cause of failure of an inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: In an ink cartridge for an inkjet recording device equipped with an ink supply port 15 having a packing member 19 which can stick to the periphery of an ink supply needle 14, the packing member 19 is fabricated by a thermoplastic elastomer containing 25 wt.% or less of a polyethylene oil. In an inkjet recording device including the ink supply needle 14, the ink supply port 15 of an ink cartridge for the inkjet recording device sticks to the ink supply needle 14 through the packing member 19, and the packing member 19 is fabricated by a thermoplastic elastomer containing 25 wt.% or less of a polyethylene oil.
