PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive aluminum salt-hydroxide porous particles each of which has a small and uniform particle diameter and fine pores each having a uniform diameter, and is not fractured when it is kneaded with a resin. SOLUTION: The aluminum salt-hydroxide porous particles have a BET specific surface area of 30-280 m<SP>2</SP>/g and are expressed by general formula (I): Z<SB>α</SB>[Al<SB>1-σ</SB>Z'<SB>σ</SB>]<SB>β</SB>Q<SB>ω</SB>R<SB>ξ</SB>(OH)<SB>ν</SB>γH<SB>2</SB>O, wherein, Z is at least one kind of cation selected from the group comprising Na<SP>+</SP>, K<SP>+</SP>, NH4<SP>+</SP>and H<SB>3</SB>O<SP>+</SP>; Z' is at least one kind of metal cation selected from the group comprising Cu<SP>2+</SP>, Zn<SP>2+</SP>, Ni<SP>2+</SP>, Sn<SP>4+</SP>, Zr<SP>4+</SP>, Fe<SP>2+</SP>, Fe<SP>3+</SP>, and Ti<SP>4+</SP>; Q is at least one kind of organic acid-anion; R is at least one kind of inorganic acid-anion; 0.7≤α≤1.35; 2.7≤β≤3.3; 0≤γ≤5; 4≤ν≤7; 0≤σ≤0.6; 1.7≤ξ≤2.4; and 0≤ω≤0.5.
