PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shaver capable of preventing loss or damage of an attachment adjusting a trimming height, and of simply shifting a trimmer unit from an edge shaving state to a beard trimming state. SOLUTION: The trimmer unit 3 and the attachment 30 are disposed in one side of a main body case 1. The trimmer unit 3 includes a holder 31 and a cutting blade 33. The holder 31 is vertically slidably supported by the body case 1 so as to be shifted from a standby position to an activating position. The attachment 30 is provided with a main body part 43 vertically slidably supported by the holder 31 and a group of thinning teeth 44. Slidingly shifting the position of the main body part 43 along the holder 31 is able to adjust the trimming height of the cutting blade 33. The attachment 30 can be attachable/detachable through sliding for djustment regardless of the shifting position of the holder 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
