Scissor-type lifting platform (1) comprises a deviating device (12) that is moved by a tension device (10) under a spreading force on the scissor arms perpendicular to the scissor axis (2), and a connecting rod assembly exerting a spreading force on the deviating device or a mounting part (11) over at least one part of the lifting movement and fixed to at least one scissor arm or the upper and/or base part (6, 7). The mounting part or deviating device not experiencing the spreading force interacts with at least one scissor arm in a force-transferring manner so that the contact point on the scissor arm moves in the longitudinal direction of the scissor arm during the lifting movement. Preferred Features: The deviating device acts in a force-transferring manner with two connecting rod devices on both folding sections of the scissor arm during lowering of the platform.
