A method and a device for handling containers are provided to quickly transport/load the container between an unloader and a loader while keeping an arrangement direction of the container. The container unloaded by the unloader is loaded to a transporter by moving the transporter to the unloader(S1). The transporter is transported to the loader in a state loading the container by keeping the arrangement direction of the container(S2). The container transported to the loader is loaded to the inside of the loader in the same direction as the arrangement direction of the container(S3). The transporter is moved widthwise to change a moving rail by the loader, which is installed widthwise between both ends of the moving rails, while moving a pair of moving rails installed lengthwise between the unloader and the loader to keep the arrangement direction of the loaded container. |
