A projection system is provided to prevent a color wheel from being separated from the projection system by using a separation prevention member bonded to the color wheel. A projection system includes a lamp, a color wheel(130), a motor(131), and a separation prevention member(132). The lamp emits light. The color wheel is located in a direction in which the light emitted from the lamp is propagated and includes multiple segments to divide the light. The motor rotates the color wheel. The separation prevention member is combined with the color wheel and prevents the color wheel from being separated from the projection system when the color wheel is rotated.
