<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antagonistic inhibitor for enzyme sphingomyelinase. <P>SOLUTION: The antagonistic inhibitor is a nitrogen-substituted form of sphingosine 1-phosphate represented by the general formula(I)ä wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is H or a (substituted) alkyl; Q<SP>1</SP>is H, an amino-protective group or acyl; Q<SP>2</SP>is H or a hydroxyl-protective group; and Q<SP>3</SP>is different from Q<SP>1</SP>, being H, an amino-protective group or a phosphate group of the general formula(II)[ wherein, R<SP>2</SP>is OH or a (substituted) lower alkoxy; and R<SP>3</SP>is OH, a (substituted) lower alkoxy or oxygen anion, wherein when being an oxygen anion, R<SP>3</SP>may be joined to R<SP>2</SP>to form an ion pair ] } or an acceptable salt thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
