<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device and a method of changing line speed which are capable of effectively utilizing the automatic deceleration of a line speed due to LCAS for an improvement in line quality. <P>SOLUTION: When a line speed control unit 4201 realizing LCAS changes the line speed of an SDH line, a band speed regulation unit 4202 acquires the changed line speed; regulates the band speed of an Ethernet (R) line so as to enable the sum of the band speed of the Ethernet (R) line not to exceed the line speed, and to enable the band speed of the Ethernet (R) line that is given a high priority not to be decelerated when the sum of the original band speed of the Ethernet (R) line exceeds the acquired line speed; and reflects the regulated band speed on band speed limiting units 1102a to 1102c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
