<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling effect for a transmission belt of a belt-type transmission, miniaturize an air duct, and allow the compact disposition by utilizing a leg shield equipped at the position capable of making good use of traveling wind as a cooling air introduced into a belt chamber of the belt-type transmission in a belt-type transmission and a vehicle equipped with the leg shield. <P>SOLUTION: A motorcycle V is equipped with the belt-type transmission M equipped with a transmission case forming the belt chamber 42 storing the transmission belt 45, and a left leg shield and a right leg shield 15 separated in the right and left direction to each other.
