PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily-attachable ornamental tape capable of surely covering a flat rectangular metal case without a gap by occupying a small space; and to provide a battery pack using it. SOLUTION: When corner parts of this flat rectangular battery pack 12 is armored, the battery pack 12 is armored by fixing this ornamental tape made of a polymer material having extensibility to press it against the corner parts of the battery. The ornamental tape 15a has a shape covering two corner parts of the battery pack 12. The ornamental tape may be formed into a tubular or annular shape to cover the four corners of the battery.
