PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software development support system for presenting the software specifications of abnormality or exception which is difficult to be detected in an easy-to-understand manner for a user. SOLUTION: In the software development support system A, when a device D in which a device name and attributes and a failure pattern which is likely to be generated are described, a carrier Cr to be transmitted between devices D, a device diagram showing relationship between the device D and the carrier Cr, a process diagram showing a process P to be processed on the device D and the conditions of the process P and an information flow diagram constituted of an arrow Ar showing relationship between the device diagram and the process diagram are input, an analysis functioning part 1b in an arithmetic processor 1 acquires any failure on the functional aspect of an integrated system by referring to the information flow diagram, and presents a scenario based on the failure as information to determine the specifications of the software through an output means 2b such as a display device.
