PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing the power consumption, when displaying a moving image on an organic EL display. SOLUTION: The organic EL display for displaying moving images includes an organic layer, comprising one or more layers that include a light-emitting layer and a plurality of EL elements, each of which has first and second electrodes facing each other with the organic layer in between, and the organic EL display is so set that the efficiency of light emission of the organic EL elements become maximum, to within 1/3 to 1/2 the luminance range of a preliminarily set maximum light emission luminance of the organic EL elements.
