PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration sensor which reduces collision sounds to be generated when vibration occurs, and does not make a user have a feeling of displeasure, even when it is mounted on a motion measuring instrument or the like to be fitted to a body. SOLUTION: The vibration sensor 1 is provided with: a hollow case 2 made of insulating resin; an electrically conductive spherical body 3 accommodated rollably in the hollow case 2: a first electrode 11 and a second electrode 12 arranged alternately in a comblike shape on an internal face 2a of the hollow case 2; and a first terminal 11a and a second terminal provided projecting outside the hollow case 2 and connected electrically to the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 respectively. The interval between the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 is so set that the spherical body 3 strides over between adjoining pieces of the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12, and becomes in such a state that the spherical body 3 is in contact with both electrodes, in a quiescent state.
