A cosmetic case is provided to install a UV lamp inside a cover to be operated for a previously set up time whenever a user opens and closes the cover of the cosmetic case to sterilize the cosmetic received into the cosmetic case. A cosmetic case includes a case body(110) and a sterilizing light irradiating unit. Cosmetic is received into the case body(110), which has an openable cover(112). The sterilizing light irradiating unit is installed inside the cover(112), and is operated for a previously set up time to irradiate sterilizing light on the cosmetic received into the case body(110). The sterilizing light irradiating unit includes a UV lamp, a board having a timer portion and a control portion, a battery and connection units having connection surfaces on the surfaces facing the case body and the cover. |
