A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to effectively block moistures and oxygen from outside by filling an adhesive agent in a space which is formed by a concave portion. A display device includes an insulation substrate(100), a display device(110), a resin layer(120), and a sealing layer(130). The display device is formed on the insulation substrate and includes an organic light emitting layer. The resin layer is formed on the display device and includes a concave portion, which is formed around an edge of the insulation substrate. The sealing layer is formed on the resin layer. A portion of the sealing layer is elongated to the concave portion. The resin layer contains a semi-thermosetting resin, which is formed by a sealant or a taping process.
