PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system provided with a heat pump type heating device for reheating hot water supplied from a hot-water supply plug, and excelling in an energy saving property without causing drop of the temperature of hot water stored in a hot water storage tank nor causing a problem due to an open type hot water storage tank. SOLUTION: This hot water supply system is provided with: the open type hot water storage tank 4 for storing hot water boiled up by a heating means 2; a circulation duct 8 equipped with a hot water plug 7 connected to the open type hot water storage tank 4 through a duct 5 for hot water supply; and the heat pump type heating device 11 for guiding hot water accumulated in the circulation duct 8 to a water heat exchanger 12 to reheat it.
