<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the pulsation error of a flow meter according to the magnitude and frequency of the pulsation under an environment of large pulsation or backflow. <P>SOLUTION: A first signal processing system provides a first signal by performing integration processing (smoothing processing) 61 of a nonlinear output signal (voltage output) Vx of a flow detecting element and adjusting the sensitivity of the output signal by linear processing 62. A second signal processing system provides a second signal by performing linear processing 64 of the output signal (source signal) Vx of the flow detecting element, performing integration processing (smoothing processing) 65 of it, and then making it nonlinear again. The difference signal between the first signal and the second signal is amplified 69 to provide a pulsation error correction amount.
