<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed which can suppress frequency of rolling over and fatigue during sleeping and enhance sleeping efficiency, while preventing negative effect of a bed surface material on a specified part of body during sleep. <P>SOLUTION: The bed has a narrower width of the bed surface material 4 in perpendicular direction to the body when lying thereon during sleeping, and provides multiple rollers 17 under the both projecting ends 9a and 9b of the bed surface material, a pair of long rotating shafts 11a and 11b which are horizontal to each other and vertical to the bed surface material 4 under the rollers 17. Eccentric core cams 10a and 10b each with a brim of which center holes are eccentric are fixed to the rotating shafts 11a and 11b at the same angle in a clockwise/counterclockwise direction respectively. The relative angle of the adjacent eccentric core cams 10a and 10b each with the brim is continuously changed at a specified angle and the multiple eccentric core cams each with the brim are mounted all over the rotating shaft at narrow intervals. When each of the rotating shafts 11a and 11b is rotated in a opposite direction by bringing the roller 17 into contact with all of the opposing eccentric core cams 10a and 10b each with the brim, the whole bed surface material moves in a direction from the head part toward the toe part slowly in small waves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
