<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the call loss rate of a wide-band call which can normally be worsened and to freely control the call loss rate of each class by executing stochastic reservation at each class to an empty band at the current time in the case of connecting calls of various classes of an IP network. <P>SOLUTION: A node takes into consideration the service state of each class for various bands from various service applications with respect to a link having a certain limited band on the IP network, sets receiving probability corresponding to the state, changes the receiving probability as a parameter to thereby control difficulty of reception, makes the control possible so as to be an intermediate value between the case of no reservation control about the call loss rate of each class and the case of the presence of reservation control, and performs receiving control so that the call loss rate of calls of each class can be equal to or smaller than a certain threshold. The probability in left areas within chain lines of Fig. 2 is made high to give priority to narrow-band calls, and the probability in right areas within chain lines is made high to give priority to wide-band calls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
