PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device allowing smooth and accurate insertion/ejection of an optical disk even when the thickness of the optical disk changes, and reduction in the numbers of components and assembling steps without reducing the quality of inserting/ejecting. SOLUTION: The optical disk A is provided with a main chassis 1, a traverse unit 2, an optical disk conveying mechanism 3, a roller base 4, an optical head 5, a driving force transmission mechanism 6, and an optical disk driving mechanism 7. The roller base 4 is provided with a fixed part 41 having a first screw hole 411 as a through-hole near a roller gear 313 fixed to the main chassis 1 and a second screw hole 412 as a through-hole on the extension line of a rotary shaft 311, and a flap part 42 on which a boss 421 and a tapered rib 422 are erected to engage a boss hole 11.
