PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform guarding point working in a short time at a low cost. SOLUTION: The inspecting device comprises: a storing part 5 for specifying a guarding candidate point in an arbitrary inspection object 22 on a circuit board 21 and storing component information of each electric component and wiring information between the electric components; an operating part 6 for inputting component numbers of the inspection objects 22; and a processing part 8 for carrying out wraparound circuit searching processing searching wraparound circuits LP1-LP3 on the basis of the component numbers of the inspection object 22, impedance calculation processing calculating impedance of each wraparound circuit LP1-LP3, and guarding candidate point specification processing specifying the guarding candidate points on the basis of impedance of each electric component found from electric items when a plurality of the electric components are included in each searched wraparound circuit LP1-LP3.
