PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a large number of multifarious machines with simple constitution regarding a counterweight for a working machine. SOLUTION: The counterweight 10 for the working machine having a casing 11 disposed at the rear end of the working machine and formed in hollow shape extending in the width direction of the working machine, and heavy loads 12 provided inside the casing 11, comprises first blocks 13 serving as the plate-like heavy loads 12 disposed almost horizontally in the casing 11, and second blocks 14 serving as the plate-like heavy loads 12 stacked on the upper faces of the first blocks 13.
