Coil production involves using a mounting plate with a fixed coating from a thermoplastic material, which is warmed up for fixing the coil conductor on a temperature above the refractory deformation temperature and cooled down after embedding the coil conductors for solidification again. The thermoplastic material is used as a thermoplastic elastomer. The fixing layer with mounting plate is applied in form of a foil. An independent claim is also included for a mounting plate for production of a saddle coil for a gradient coil of magnet resonance device.
