A manufacturing method of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent inflow of an un-hardened sealant into a liquid crystal layer by dropping liquid crystals after a sealant adjacent to a display area is pre-hardened. A sealant(412) is applied to a non-display area(NDA) of a first display plate(100) divided into a display area(DA) at a central portion and the non-display area of a peripheral portion. An ultraviolet ray is first emitted to the sealant, and at least a portion of the sealant is pre-hardened. Liquid crystals are dropped to the display area of the first display panel. A second display panel(200) is disposed to face the first display panel and contact the sealant applied onto the first display panel. The sealant is hardened by performing thermal treatment on the first and second display plates facing each other. An area of the sealant that is pre-hardened includes a sealant area adjacent to the display area. |
