A contactless transponder unit is provided which comprises a chip module, a first antenna connected to two upper conductive contact zones of the chip module a nd a second antenna connected to two lower conductive contact zones of the chip module. The chip is configured in such a way as to operate the first antenna at a first frequency range and the second antenna at a second frequency range, the first frequenc y range being different than the second frequency range.
