<p>An electronic imaging device including a first plurality of photosensitive elements. Each of the first plurality of photosensitive elements has a first light acceptance numerical aperture. The electronic imaging device further includes a second plurality of photosensitive elements where each of the photosensitive elements of the second plurality of photosensitive elements is disposed proximate to a respective photosensitive element of the first plurality of photosensitive elements thereby forming a plurality of dual photosensitive elements. Each of the second plurality of photosensitive elements has a second light acceptance numerical aperture, where the second light acceptance numerical aperture is less than the first light acceptance numerical aperture.</p> |
