<p>Even if a content is under copy restriction for copyright protection, the content can be recorded by effectively using a recording area. Tuner control sections (11, 21) update use information (11a, 21a) in response to a request of use reservation and set a tuner use right. When a recording managing section (122) is instructed to perform multiple recording of a content, it acquires use information (11a, 21a) from the tuner control sections (11, 21) and check tuners (13, 23). The recording managing section (122) secures the tuner use right of the tuners (13, 23) used for recording and instructs a recorder (14) to record the content received by one of the secured tuners. A content managing section (121) records content management information (12a) including the number of secured tuners (13, 23) as the number of held contents.</p> |
