Pressure on the answer call key (3, Fig.3) will display the user's own number (7, Fig.3) until the end call key (4, Fig.3) is pressed. This can be when the mobile is active, that is when a conversation is taking place, or inactive, that is when the phone is still switched on but no conversation is taking place. As an alternative to the use of the end call key, pressure on the answer call key alone could display the number for a short period of time while the phone is inactive. As an alternative to the use of answer call key and end call key, the number could be displayed by use of a separate key (8, Fig.4) or use of a combination of existing keys (9, Fig. 4). To give effect to the above number displays there will be addition/s. amendment/s, alteration/s to the internal working structure of the mobile phone incorporating microchip/s (11, Fig.5) wires or wiring (10, Fig.5) or such like. |
