<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette loading device capable of smoothly and properly loading a cassette and also warranting the effective protection and the smooth operation of members and to provide a recording or reproducing device provided with this cassette loading device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a cassette holder 2 to which a cassette 1 is inserted and link mechanisms 3, 4 for supporting the cassette holder 2 in ascendable and descendable between an ascending position and a recording/ reproducing position against a chassis 11. A lid opener 25 capable of opening a front cover 1a of the cassette 1 in accompany with the cassette loading operation is provided. A stopper means 20 is provided so that the cassette loading operation is controlled in accordance with the normal or defective state of the cassette insertion. After the cassette 1 is decended in the state uninserted to the cassette holder 2 and the back face of the cassette is abutted on a guide member, the loading operation of the cassette 1 is controlled when the cassette 1 is inserted again.</p> |
