Method of estimating scattered radiation in X-ray tomography

The method involves forming a three dimensional image of an object from images of the object captured by a bi-dimensional detector (2). Respective coefficients of the radiation diffusion are attributed to each portion of the three dimensional image. An image of equivalent length of phantoms (7) is determined with respect to the total quantity of the radiation diffused on projections for projecting the radiation passing through the object. The phantom is selected according to the length and thickness passed by measuring radiation (5).
