Profile for use in heat insulation

Profile strip (1) comprises a fixing surface (4) for fixing the strip to a roof surface and sloping upward with respect to support surfaces (3, 3'). Preferred Features: Screws with a two-part thread for fixing the profile strip to rafters lying underneath are assigned to the profile strip. The distance between the threaded parts of the screw corresponds to the insulation thickness. The profile strip has water-removing holes (7, 7') in the region of the edge of all the support surfaces.
