The process involves propelling a counter weight (8) by explosion of a cartridge. A force transmitting device (7) is arranged between the counter weight of a cartridge explosive device and a tapered bit (4). The cartridge is actuated to propel the counter weight against the device (7). The device (7) supports against the bit (4) to drive in a tapered recess (5) of an anchoring block (3).
