Claimed is a rotary sheet printing press with one or more print inspection sensors incorporated at various points within the chain of print processes. The in-line aggregates incorporate print, lacquer, drying stations and a sheet collection stack. The assembly incorporates one or more in-line sheet (B) inspection stations (I) and one or more sheet marking stations (D) at which identification marks are applied to the sheet within a pre-determined sector. The assembly further incorporates a discrete precision sheet guide (IW) with a cylinder (R) located after the respective print, lacquer or drying station. The cylinder defines the sheet marking zones.
