Method for controlling the change of status of a terminal in a radio communication system

The method involves periodically transmitting multiple information blocks in a channel by radio network controller of the radio communication system. The terminal (UE) signals, on confirmation of the resulting change, from the status (CellFACH) to the other status (CellDCH) by an information of the radio network controller (RNC). The multiple information blocks were not completely read. The radio network controller (RNC) transmits a message concerning a change of the terminal (UE) of a status (CellFACH) to the other status (CellDCH) to the terminal (UE).
