Safety system for a hydrocarbon trap

The hydrocarbon reservoir trap (40) is positioned inside a first air duct (20) such as the outlet (22) of a pollen filter. A second air duct (32), which could be the inlet of a pollen filter system, is pushed over a section of the first air duct (20) in order to enclose the hydrocarbon reservoir trap (40) located inside the first duct (20). Hose clips (50) are attached to both pipes (20,32). A multitude of projections (37) radial exceeding from the inner surface of the second pipe (32) are pressed into openings (27) located at the first pipe (20). Independent claims are given for a method for securing the trap and an air intake unit comprising the securing system.
