The profile is made from aluminum and contains a mounting groove with a rectangular or square-shaped cross section close to one of its edges. Glass or a board made of any thin material is fitted in the groove with the help of a seal for improving sound resistance properties. A sealing groove with a rectangular cross-section is located in the opposite side of the profile to the mounting groove. When fitting together modules assembled from these profiles it is possible to install a seal preventing air circulation and the spread of air vibrations in this groove. A connecting groove in the centre of the inner wall of the profile allows bolts and pins or similar fasteners to fit together these modules. Openings for mounting the profiles are located in the centre of the connecting groove on the inside of the profile, in order to allow plugs to be inserted. The modules are removed from the wall constructions by taking out the bolts and plugs. The profiles are arrang! ed at right angles to each other and secured together by screws inserted into a connecting groove and a mounting groove.
