An in-line cable tie with a hinge-type locking mechanism is provided to increase flexibility of the cable tie by using strap teeth which are formed at both ends of a cable tie body. An in-line cable tie(100) includes a cable tie head(110), a cable strap tail(140), and a long strap(150). The cable tie head and the cable strap tail are arranged at both end portions of the cable tie. The long strap is arranged between the cable tie head and the cable strap tail. The strap has a predetermined thickness and two main surfaces. The first main surface forms an uppermost portion of the strap and includes plural first teeth, which are extended along the main surface. The second main surface forms a lowermost portion of the strap and includes plural second teeth, which are extended along the main surface. The cable tie is made of a flexible material, such as a nylon. |
