An antiseptic composition for disinfecting the skin and a method for using the same are provided to maintain product stability for a long time more than conventional suspension. An antiseptic composition for disinfecting the skin contains C(1-6) ethyl alcohol of approximately 50wt.% to total weight, organic acid or acid selected from a mixture, and cationic oligomer or polymer. The C(1-6) ethyl alcohol comprises ethanol, 2-propane, and n-propane. The cationic oligomer or polymer contains cationic polysaccharide, copolymer of saccharide and cationic monomer, synthetic cationic oligomer or polymer, and mixture thereof. |
