The cork can be pulled out using a wire which can include portions extending along the mantle surface or along the underside. The wire can extend along the cork length axis and be secured to a disc on the bottom side of the core. The upper portion (13) of the wire comprises a loop which is normally folded or rolled away on the top side of the cork prior to use. The core comprises a cylindrical or slightly tapered elastic body.
