An automatic spanner is provided to improve the efficiency of a work by flexibly varying the width of an opening as a slide piece formed in a head section is moved. An automatic spanner includes a knob(20), a head section(10), a slide piece(30), a boss(30a), a stopper(31), a fixing piece(33), a resilient member(32), and teeth(40). The head section is integrally formed with the knob. An opening is formed at one end of the head section. A slide groove is formed on one surface of the inner side of the head section. The slide piece can be moved along the slide groove. The boss is formed at the lower end of the slide piece in correspondence to the slide groove. The stopper is formed on one side of a side end of the slide piece. The fixing piece is engaged with one end of the slide groove. The resilient member is embedded between the fixing piece and the stopper. The teeth are formed on the entire surfaces of the head section and the slide piece. |
