A construction method of a cutting area using an ecological building block is provided to secure bearing capacity by forming a concrete column, to maximize bearing capacity against horizontal earth pressure by connecting concrete having a reinforcing bar to a block and to prevent a breakdown by preventing the movement of earth. The construction method of a cutting area using an ecological building block comprises the steps of: forming a slope by selecting a cutting area for a retaining wall and digging out earth in the cutting area, forming a foundation by compacting the ground where ecological building blocks are constructed horizontally, arranging reinforcing bars and placing a first ecological building block and placing concrete, and installing perforated pipes on the slope and filling up the slope with earth to the same height as the top of the block; placing a second ecological building block on the top of the first ecological building block formed on the foundation in tiers to secure a vegetation space to the maximum and filling up the vegetation space of the second ecological building block and the slope with earth; forming a supporter by spreading subsidence prevention vinyl sheets(60) on the top of the ecological building block and the slope, inserting one side of a reinforcing bar(20) to an insertion groove(13a) formed on a rear wall of an ecological building block(100) and placing concrete on the slope, installing a perforated pipe on the concrete surface and piling up another ecological building block on the top of the ecological building block in tiers and laying the vegetation space and the slope; and finishing up the upper part of the cutting area by placing concrete on the slope and a concrete placing hole(14) of the ecological building block to form a concrete column. |
