This invention provides an improvement to an existing patent, to create an Emergency Floatation Device for a snowmobile, in order to enhance the prospects of survival for t he riders should their snowmobile become submerged in cold water after breaking through thin ice. T he floatation bladders are designed to be inflated with the use of compressed CO2 gas. The manual activation of the inflating system will expand a series of three individual bladders, whic h are strategically placed and integrated within the body of the snowmobile, providing buoyancy to the machine and safety to the riders, as well as activating an emergency distress signaling device.</S DOAB>
