A heat transfer type ventilator is provided to reduce the size and weight of a ventilator by supplying external air and exhausting indoor air with one fan, thereby reducing noise and vibration. A case(10) has a containing space(11) inside. An intake and exhaust fan(20) is installed in the containing space of the case, and is driven by an external power source. An external air intake part(30) is installed on the case for sucking external air in. An internal air intake part is installed on the case for sucking indoor air in. A partition wall(13) controls a moving path of the sucked air. A total heat exchanger(40) is installed in the containing space for exchanging heat between external air and indoor air. An air purifying filter(41) is installed at one side of the total heat exchanger for purifying pollutants of external air and indoor air. An air supply unit(37) supplies the external air purified through the air purifying filter. An exhaust part(35) discharges the indoor air purified through the air purifying filter.
