A mold for a display device and a method for manufacturing the display device by using the mold are provided to improve the yield of a pattern which is to be formed on a passivation layer. A mold(1) for a display device comprises a supporting frame(10), at least one pattern forming part(12) formed on one surface of the supporting frame, and a protrusion part(14) protruded from the supporting frame. The protrusion part is formed along the circumference of the pattern forming part. An inside wall surface of the protrusion part faces the pattern forming part and stands upright from a plane of the supporting frame.
