A battery protection switch of an industrial engine is provided to completely disconnect and connect a power source by actuating an oil pressure movement terminal using a circulating oil. When power is supplied to a battery power terminal(31) and a start supply terminal(34). A start terminal(22) is turned on, so that a start motor(20) is started and an engine is ignited. When the engine is started, the battery power terminal of the start switch(30) supplies power to a charging power terminal(33) using a spring force. The supplied power is delivered to a discharge protection switch power supply terminal(41) in a battery discharge protection switch(40). An oil passes through an oil circulating system and is delivered to an oil pressure movement terminal(43). Then, the oil pressure movement terminal is connected to a discharge protection switch charging terminal(42), so that battery power is supplied to a charging device(50), a lighting unit(51), and an accessory(52).
