A system and a method for transmitting large amount of SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) data are provided to transmit a large amount of data continuously regardless of the limit of an SNMP transmission protocol, the state of a link, and the characteristic and size of management data by using a streaming transmission method. A system for transmitting a large amount of SNMP data includes UDP(User Datagram Protocol) processors(402,452), SNMP processors(404,454), get-bulk processors(410,458), a buffer(408), and an RTCP(Real-time Transport Control Protocol) processor(406). The UDP processors(402,452) perform processes related with UDPs for transmitting SNMP data. The SNMP processors(404,454) perform SNMP analysis. The get-bulk processors(410,458) perform generation and analysis of get-bulk massages. The buffer(408) is used for matching a data process speed and a data receiving speed of an SNMP manager(400). The RTCP processor(406) is used for checking data transmission speed.
