An airtight container capable of being opened or closed easily is provided to hold a complete opening state continuously by using a magnet and an iron piece attached on parts in which handles contact to each other in completely opening a lid. An airtight container capable of being opened or closed easily is opened or closed by installing handles(3) at a container body(1) and a lid(2). Fitting units(4b) are formed at each handle and assembled with each other. A staple-shaped spring(4) having a round head unit is fitted through fitting grooves(4a) of each handle and fixed to a hanging sill(4c). The lid is easily opened by a force bearing part(3a) formed at the handle of the container body in pressing the handles with hands. In completely opening the lid by pressing the handles, a magnet(5) and an iron piece(6) attached on contact parts of the handles maintain the opening state of the lid.
